What started out this past Monday evening as the official welcoming of Spring and the exciting arrival of a beautiful and vibrant new Minkin to Furcadia, quickly turned to confusion and chaos just as Prime Jujinka was about to release her kindling magic upon the waiting Dragon's Breath Orbs.

The gathered crowd, abuzz with anticipation for the fiery Phoekin, fell silent and still as the Dark Prime Dyarr/Dyarra descended into their midst. The Lord/Lady of Lies cackled in wicked glee as they wrought their foul magic upon the Orbs, twisting and warping their very essence to a shape far more pleasing to the taste of the Dark Prime.

Prime Jujinka, having already poured a great wealth of her magic into the Orbs to ready them for life, could do naught but watch in horror as the scene unfolded. The normally sparkling, vibrant orbs stretched and dulled to a grotesque form before suddenly rending with the sound of wet tearing... and before the crowd stood not the bright and sprightly Phoekin, but beings of gluttonous proportions, a myriad of tentacles sprouting from their terrible faces and fleshy talons gouging furrows into the soft ground. The Lady of Green wept silent tears at the sight of the monstrosities before fleeing from the glade, a promise burning in her eyes to return once her power was restored to truly bring forth the Phoekin from their slumber.

Dark Prime Dyarr/Dyarra, smugly satisfied with their meddling, vanished triumphantly, the rise of Ctrollu complete!

And thus, another successful Furcadian April Fool's was had! ;)
