Basic Commands
Learn the basics of how to talk and interact with Furcadia. With these commands, you can request in-game help from the Beekins, whisper other furres (even if they're offline!), or pick up and use objects in the game. The place to start when you're just getting started.

| /"furre name" "msg" | Whisper a furre. You can also right click the furre's avatar or name to select this option from a menu. For players with a space in their name - simply leave it out. Ex. Emerald Flame: EmeraldFlame Moo |
| /%%name | Send an offline message Will be delivered when the player next comes back online |
| /%name | Exact-name whisper. Send a whisper to a Furre with the exact name provided. |
| :"action" (ex. :smiles) | Emote an action You can also use emote actions in whispers. |
| whispersoff | Turn whispers off |
| whisperson | Turn whispers on |
| look "furre name" | View a player's description |
| `glook "furre name" | View the description of a player who isn't in the same dream as you. |
| `afk [reason] | Turn AFK mode on. The reason is displayed in your description. Configuration for this is in FurEd |
| `unafk | Turn AFK mode off. Moving or speaking will have the same effect. |
| TAB | Toggle the names of all furres in your field of view. |
| F2 or CTRL + G or `get | Pick up / Drop an item |
| `who or F4 or CTRL + W | Who is online |
| F5 or Shift + Arrow Up | Scroll up |
| F6 or Shift + Arrow Down | Scroll down |
| F8 or CTRL + R | Visit last link or hyperlink that was posted in the text box. |
| ignore "furre name" | Ignore a furre You can also right click the furre's avatar or name to select this option from a menu. |
| ignore off | Turns off all ignores |
| list ignores | List ignored players |
| banish "name" | Banish a furre from your dream. |
| tempbanish "name" | Banish a furre from your dream for three days. |
| banish-off "name" | Unbanish a furre from your dream. |
| banish-off-all | Unbanish all furres banished from your dream. |
| banish-list | List all furres banished from your dream. |
| `summon "name" | Bring a furre to your location You can also right click the furre's avatar or name to select this option from a menu. |
| `summon | Accept a join request. You can also right click the furre's avatar or name to select this option from a menu. |
| `join "name" | Request to join another furre. You can also right click the furre's avatar or name to select this option from a menu. |
| `join | Join a furre who is summoning you. You can also right click the furre's avatar or name to select this option from a menu. |
| `decline | Decline a request to join/summon a furre. |
| `lead "name" | Offer to lead a furre. You can also right click the furre's avatar or name to select this option from a menu. |
| `lead | Lead a furre who has requested to follow you You can also right click the furre's avatar or name to select this option from a menu. |
| `follow "name" | Request to follow another furre You can also right click the furre's avatar or name to select this option from a menu. |
| `follow | Accept a lead request from another player You can also right click the furre's avatar or name to select this option from a menu. |
| `stop | Stop Leading or Following another furre. You can also right click the furre's avatar or name to select this option from a menu. |
| CTRL + P | Turn on/off sound |
| CTRL + O | Turn on/off music |
| CTRL + U or F3 | Use the item you are holding |
| CTRL + N | Reconnect to file server |
| CTRL + Y | Initialize/Uninitialize the sound system |
| F11 | Toggle walking animation |
| `desc "text" | Change your description temporarily. |
| `chdesc "text" | Change your description permanently. Silver Sponsors only |
| desctags | To turn off description tags |
| time | Furcadia Standard Time |
| dreamurl | Gives you the furc:// link to the current dream. |
| `buy-cookie | Buy a freshly baked in-game cookie. Costs 5 Copper Dragonscales See also: Cookie Economy. |
| roll "die"d"sides" (ex: roll 1d6) | Roll dice to get a random number. Indicating the number of dice, and indicating the number of sides on each die. |
| reject-desctags | Prevents people from throwing desctags at you! Available to: Silver Sponsors. |
| accept-desctags | Allows people to throw desctags at you! Available to: Silver Sponsors. |
| - | Turn shouts on/off |
| -"text" | To shout something |
| `quit | Disconnect from the game server |
| `cuddle "name" | Request a cuddle from an adjacent furre. Available to: Silver Sponsors. |
| `which | Display Heimdall, Tribble and Horton information |
