This year, on what just happened to be April 1st, April Fools, the Dragon looked out across Kasuria and decided 2020 wouldn't do. We'd have a do-over and we were all taken back to Winterfest 2019!
To celebrate, the eventers hosted a party in Danival's Winter Festival.
Furres got comfortable and huddled together, sipping hot cocoa with toasted marshmallows. The fresh scent of pine and festive treats wafted through the air as the snow on the ground glistened and sparkled.
Breaking this cosy atmosphere, a snowball fight broke out, getting everyfurre on their feet! Nobody was safe from pelting.
Once things calmed back down again, the spirit of Winter Festival picked up as furres were allocated their special 'elf names'. Esmi became 'Grinchy Sugar Socks' and Iced became 'Dasher McJingles' to name a few. (If you missed out you can work out yours Here)
In memory of the year that had passed, furres shared their favourite memes. A big thanks to those who whispered in!
The Winterfest party was not complete without a game of madlibs, tailored to the day's strange happenings of course! The final story is posted below:
The Dragon frowned, 2020 looked bad, it's time to go back they said and do it again. The fluffy furres gathered in the snow, long and fruitily screamed about. There were festive lights in the trees and lego along the paths. The mood was set for a stinky night.
The trees sang songs about crows and the kiwis sipped hot cocoa under the tomatoes while burping. Sarnith and Poe gobbled snowballs while Shimatsu smacked the wet frogs. Amabel built a pillowpet of snow, and Kono added the final detail, a tiny woman.
'How strange!' mused the Dragon, with a voluminous grin. Shall we do this again, tomorrow, with a quesadilla? 'But what about Spring?' asked the furres? The thought of flatulent flowers and butterflies bumbling about seemed quite nice. 'I see' said the dragon. 'We'll return to normal... but in the meanwhile enjoy!' For the rest of the night the furres boogied in the snow and shared itchy hot cocoa. 'A bit absurd!' they said, 'but we'll take it!'
Finally to finish things off, furres gathered together and gave their best cheesy grins for a group photo!
We hope everyone had a good time, we sure did! Thank you to everyone for helping out and celebrated with us!
