Welcome to our home!

Â

Congratulations! You've found yourself at Lost Lakes, a quaint and peaceful place away from all the hustle and bustle of Furcadia. Known for being one of the oldest dreams of the realms as well as being part of the inspiration of a well loved web-comic, we're rather proud of all that we've accomplished. This is the site where you can find all you need to know about Lost Lakes and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact one of the helpful staff!

Â

Lost Lakes is for Socializing and Persona play. Rp is kept to the designated areas on the map, with some light "make believe" style at the table. The local technology is a blend of magic and science. While limited to no exact or specific era, the realm of Lost Lakes is built within and favors the renaissance period.Â

The Rules

Â

1.) Respect Each Other -- We strive to accepting of the opinions and beliefs of everyone. While conversation is encouraged please be mindful of that fact. The rating of Lost Lakes is pg, though depending on the people present some pg-13 is okay too. Lost Lakes is not the place to settle scores, causing drama or unnecessary problems is not welcomed. Remember, Lost Lakes is a place to come and relax, to enjoy one's self. Being in the Lakes is a privilege, not a right. Be respectful and have fun, after all, it IS just a game, so please, enjoy your time with us.

Â

2.) No Fighting -- There are locations on the map that have been set asside specifically for this reason. If you're asked to, please just go there. If you're seen as being overly aggresive or confrontational, you may be asked to stop or leave.

Â

3.) Listen To The Staff -- The Taneests of Lost Lake reserve the right to make executive decisions in tense scenarios in the Rah's absense. They were chosen with the belief that they can make decisions that will reflect the Lake and calm conflicts as immediately as possible. If you truly feel there was a misunderstanding or wish to contest their decision, please do not make a scene. We do have a chain of command and The Senior Taneests and Rah will review the issue as soon as possible. If you are interested in becomming staff, please inform one of the existing staff.Â

Â

4.) No Spamming -- Bombarding the dream with block text, alternate characters and objects, notably in excess and with the intent to maliciously annoy and disrupt, is not permitted and will be dealt with swiftly. This includes speaking via multiple bots or alternate characters in unison.

Â

The Chain of Command. -- Players and staff often work together on issues within the Lakes, and this chain helps eliminate some confusion. If a player has an issue with staff, they should save their log files and ask the Overseer Taneesta Caoimhe to review the event. If you are still not happy, you are free to request a review with Roy Seigfried, the Rah, who's word is and will be final.

Â

Complaints -- If a player is speaking about something you do not wish to hear about just ask them politely to not do so or use the Ignore {furrename} option. If someone is doing something that bothers you, such as walking into you repeatedly, ask them politely not to do it. If they continue, save your logfile of the event and file a complaint with a staff member. Just stating openly in the tavern that you do not like something is not considered an official complaint and will not be seen as one. If you do not tell us directly that something bothers you we will assume you are allright with whatever is going on. Also, remember, if you have no log file/s to back yourself up, you have no case and your complaint will be dismissed. Your case will also be dismissed if you submit a logfile altered in any way. We have the master Logfiles and can compare them easily enough.
