A Snippet Memory for Lion Dreams: 1999-2015: Lion Roleplay began in the Summer of 1999, with a small dream called FLP but better known as The Flare Lion Pride. There were no pretty items or patches and avatars. It was before all that, when feral wolf rp began as well. That's right, lion rp is just as old as wolf rp! The first King was King Lion, a realistic lion rper, who had a harem of lionesses in this single pride. There were, of course, no other males. And one of the first feral hyenas was Bonezi, Oz's great-uncle, who followed the FLP as a scavenger.When King Lion disappeared, Lion RP fell out of vogue until 2003. This is when the Lion King II dream opened. A few patches and avatars but nothing mind-boggling. It was as a rough sketch for developing lion rpers, not yet realistic. It was fun to run around. There were other versions such as Lion King Pride and Lion King I but LKII was the main crowd attractor for the time. There were a few dreams in between but the next major dream was Serengeti (2004), co-owned by Oz. Yes, there is a Serengeti dream today but it is not the same owners or dream, for that matter. This is where the first semi-realistic lion rp started though it was based around Lion King. There were pridelands, outlands, and a graveyard. This dream lasted until late 2004 when Oz's co-owner decided to take it down.Serengeti was replaced with Mihadi Miliki. The first, total realistic dream, not including hybrids, albinos, or whites. This was the first dream for prides to have African names and even started the African alt name craze! Unfortunately, this dream did not last long. Though it was loaded privately for a while, the masses switched to: Tanzania! In mid-2005. Tanzania had been in the making, by Oz and Zere, long before Mihadi went down but it took a few weeks before it could be loaded publicly. It took time to make a name for ourselves but we have come a long way since then, developing the basis for realistic lion rp and hopefully creating the most stimulating savannah dream out there. We have grown and learned from our mistakes. As for today, Tanzania lays dormant and new dreams take her place. For now. R.I.P.

Yveridia is a seedy little settlement located between Pinemoor and Oakway, a practical stones throw from either. It is off the well traveled paths and is surrounded by thick bramble that isolates it from the rest of the Silvat region of Kasuria. It's about 6 hours from Silver Soul's Castle, but up to 8 depending on weather conditions to and from the location.There is a large wall that separates two zones of the settlement. The first zone being the residential and shop district. It is by far the nicer of the two where things are not so bad in the eye of the public. Beyond the wall is the Cesspool, and it is the true heart of Yveridia, where you will find more nefarious things, like the brothel or the black market.The settlement is guarded by a group known as the "Wolves", an official guard that answer only to the town's provost. They refer to all criminals as "Rats" though are not much better themselves. They are ruthless, disreputable and brutal in their pursuit for the skewed justice that they seek. They will take bribes to leave "Rats" alone, or to turn the other way, but it's always a gamble, as a Wolf is unpredictable, and may take the bribe while continuing their hunt.The Whelps are Wolf Trainees, identifiable by lack of official badge on the wolf uniform. For the most part, both Rats and Wolves leave average town citizens alone, so the establishment is safe enough for those that keep their noses out of crime.More will be added as the town grows, so keep your eyes open!
