A Snippet Memory for Lion Dreams: 1999-2015: Lion Roleplay began in the Summer of 1999, with a small dream called FLP but better known as The Flare Lion Pride. There were no pretty items or patches and avatars. It was before all that, when feral wolf rp began as well. That's right, lion rp is just as old as wolf rp! The first King was King Lion, a realistic lion rper, who had a harem of lionesses in this single pride. There were, of course, no other males. And one of the first feral hyenas was Bonezi, Oz's great-uncle, who followed the FLP as a scavenger.When King Lion disappeared, Lion RP fell out of vogue until 2003. This is when the Lion King II dream opened. A few patches and avatars but nothing mind-boggling. It was as a rough sketch for developing lion rpers, not yet realistic. It was fun to run around. There were other versions such as Lion King Pride and Lion King I but LKII was the main crowd attractor for the time. There were a few dreams in between but the next major dream was Serengeti (2004), co-owned by Oz. Yes, there is a Serengeti dream today but it is not the same owners or dream, for that matter. This is where the first semi-realistic lion rp started though it was based around Lion King. There were pridelands, outlands, and a graveyard. This dream lasted until late 2004 when Oz's co-owner decided to take it down.Serengeti was replaced with Mihadi Miliki. The first, total realistic dream, not including hybrids, albinos, or whites. This was the first dream for prides to have African names and even started the African alt name craze! Unfortunately, this dream did not last long. Though it was loaded privately for a while, the masses switched to: Tanzania! In mid-2005. Tanzania had been in the making, by Oz and Zere, long before Mihadi went down but it took a few weeks before it could be loaded publicly.
