Kaesci are a race of transdimensional beings, hailing from their homeland of Penumbra in the dimension of Devas. They are bestial, shadow-based beings that consume energy and the life force of others - tantra - in addition to consuming actual food. Most Kaesci outside of Devas are refugees having fled from civil war, now mingling with other races and their cultures. This group is open to everyone, not just Kaesci players, though the species itself is closed.
